Shelley Berger Recipient Of Penn Med Award Of Excellence & Bpp Mentor Award

Congratulations to Shelley Berger, Ph.D., the 2016 recipient of the Stanley N. Cohen Biomedical Research Award, one of Penn Medicine’s Awards of Excellence!

Additionally, Dr. Berger is the 2016 winner of Biomedical Postdoctoral Program’s Distinguished Mentor Award. She has mentored more than 30 postdoctoral fellows throughout her independent career, 8 of whom currently hold academic positions at other institutions. Her postdocs nominated her for this year’s award — an honor that’s well deserved!
