The lab welcomes Postdoc Carly Harro from H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute! Carly will be focusing on epigenetic regulation of dysfunctional CAR T cells, co-mentored with Carl June. Welcome, Carly!
Congrats to Desi Alexander and Tanya Corman for their paper investigating the role of ACSS2 in fear conditioning, out today in PNAS News. Fantastic work looking at the role of this metabolic enzyme on memory formation!
The lab welcomes postdoc Lesley Chaboub to the lab! Lesley will be working on developing ACSS2 inhibitors to help with addiction and trauma and hopes to translate her findings to the clinic. Welcome Lesley!
We welcome our new lab manager Connor Hogan! Connor is also helping to study the role of ACSS2 in memory. Welcome Connor!
